Business Principles

(1) Customer focus is our organization’s top priority. The customer is the foundation of our success; therefore customer satisfaction, competitiveness and value are critical to our mission and are a founding tenet of our organization. If we can make our customers more competitive, we will be more successful. We must constantly ask our customers how we can make them more competitive.

(2) Integrity and reputation are everything. All of our business and non-business actions must promote honesty, openness, credibility and trust. Business decisions must be made every day and these decisions must be driven by a strict adherence to high ethical values.

(3) We are a true meritocracy. We measure meritocracy in terms of a professional’s ability to do two things: (1) Exceed and (2) Build. We expect professionals to (1) Exceed long and short term quotas or goals and eventually (2) Build, train and manage successful collaborative teams. Professionals must first exceed their goals before building and teaching other teams. Of course, exceeding goals will involve collaboration and rational team building. Professionals who can both exceed and build will be substantially rewarded at World Prospects. Accordingly, we make an unusual effort to recruit and retain the best professionals for each position.

(4) We collaborate without boundaries. We work as a team both internally towards a common cause – providing value to customers, and externally in collaboration with customers and partners. We make a significant effort to help our fellow team members within and outside the organization, in a highly effective fashion, to provide competitive advantage to our customers.

(5) We are a fact and data driven organization. Whether we are looking at performance, suggestions, results, complaints or explanations, we focus on facts and data. We are a highly objective organization and encourage smart, rigorous and methodical thinking by all of our professionals. While differences may occur in ideas and opinions, we expect our professionals to move intelligently, respectfully and quickly to resolve differences and exceed business objectives. In addition to utilizing our own performance measures, we encourage our professionals to measure their own performance and suggest ways to improve their performance. We focus on both direct performance measures and volatility from performance measures in determining success.

(6) Significant volatilities in performance will substantially undermine and overshadow good performance.

(7) We emphasize process. Process focus, process measurement, process management and process improvement. We continue to look for methods and ideas to improve our processes. Whether we are looking at a management process, a sales process, a customer service process or a technology development process, we constantly look for ways to make our business processes better. We cannot be afraid of mistakes which are inevitable,

(8) We are a proactive organization. We create and seek out opportunities diligently. We make a habit of attacking problems before they arise. We are proactive in our approach to creating value. While that does not necessarily mean that we need to be the first mover in a particular course of action, when we commit to a course of action, we must strive for excellence.

(9) We drive for perfection in an environment that encourages intelligent trial, evaluation, and improvement. While mistakes are inevitable, they are not always an option. We must follow intelligent processes that are pre-validated by data and pre-validated by an experienced cross-organizational team.  We must not delay discussing and addressing any mistakes immediately in an open and respectful culture.

(10) We must constantly strive for excellence in all that we do. We aim to be the best possible in sales, information technology, marketing, customer support, finance, human resources and administration.

(11) We are a fair and equal opportunity employer. Our objectivity and fairness demands it. We cannot be successful if we do not recruit and retain the best professionals irrespective of race, gender, religion, or other orientation of any kind.

(12) We are committed to assisting those in need and in our communities through volunteer endeavors and through partnerships with non-profit entities.
